Red Earth Outdoor Equipment is the lifestyle/hiking brand behind the Explorer backpack. They have manufactured an ergonomic bag with unique features including shoulder straps that are attached at the base and cross behind you and a removable hip belt.
Where We Started
Red Earth approached us after already launching a Kickstarter campaign and a basic website, that lacked e-commerce capabilities. We began our relationship by building a custom website design and developing a website through WordPress. We embedded the Shopify buy button so that our customer could take advantage of WordPress and Elementor’s SEO ability, and Shopify’s discounted shipping options. We were also tasked with creating media assets such a lifestyle-photos, product photos, testimonial videos and commercials.

As an extremely niche business (hiking/apparel), it’s extremely important for Red Earth to become and authority in the hiking industry. We delivered comprehensive utility information on the bag, along with easy to digest media assets to better understand the bag’s function in plain English. We built on the current branding and delivered a website design that is modern and user friendly.
SEO, Video Production and Photography
We offered thorough on-page optimization, ensuring the website offered robot.txt, a sitemap, meta data and optimized headers. We produced hundreds of high-quality lifestyle photos and video productions that highlight the Explorers use and aesthetics.
