Working with the Black Diamond Elk Ranch (BDER) has been an enlightening process. Steve Koeckhoven (Owner & Operator) at the BDER had a clear mission, to help educate people about the life cycle of elk and create a modernized Elk Shop that could run on an easy to use e-commerce platform.
Steve tried multiple freelance web developers and different platforms such as Shopify and Squarespace, none of which were able to truly bring his vision to life. Until he met Innovate Media Canada.
We helped Steve build exactly what he had dreamed, a website that acts as a foundation for a growing business that can educate the public, while helping market his elk meat and other unique products. We captured footage and photographs to produce original content, and most importantly – we helped tell his story.
Using the B-roll from our time working with Steve out on the ranch, we put together a montage of footage that helped tell the story of the Black Diamond Elk Ranch. Seeing the footage, Steve insisted that we use it for our own purposes, along with a voiceover testimonial to show off to our future prospects.
